Johanne Davis is an Emmy-nominated television news journalist, who is an expert in strategic communications planning.
Johanne Davis started Davis Multimedia Consulting in 2017 as a way to personally leverage the work she was already doing on behalf of small businesses, the military, and government clients. As a veteran public affairs & media relations professional, she is often tasked with analyzing communications strategies, formulating communication plans, and implementing administrative procedures.
She is experienced in briefing and training executives and senior leaders. Ms. Davis is proficient in the design of social media strategies as well as public outreach campaigns that explain or advance an agency's mission or goals. However, she excels in visual storytelling. It's her passion. Ms. Davis perfected the craft while working as an anchor/reporter in several top media markets. Her career milestones include stints at KSAT-TV in San Antonio, TX, WRDW-TV in Augusta, GA, WROC-TV in Rochester, NY, WSBK-TV and WGBH-TV in Boston, MA. She is currently a contributing reporter for Carolina Impact, a weekly news magazine show broadcast on WTVI PBS Charlotte.
Ms. Davis is also a social media expert who supports the global team at The Social Element agency. As a part of their Rapid Deployment Team, Ms. Davis is responsible for providing online insight on community management strategy and content services to top brands on an as-needed basis. She is also an on-call Communications Consultant for a U.S. military contracting firm providing Information Environment analysis. Before launching Davis Multimedia Consulting, Ms. Davis worked as a Strategic Communications Consultant at a national intelligence agency outside of Washington D.C., where she oversaw external and internal communications for various offices within the human resources department. She often collaborated with a team of other contractors on change management, crisis communications, and inter-agency relations for the organization.
Ms. Davis is a graduate of the Columbia University of Journalism.
